Responsibilities:
- Responsible for entire projects with significant scope and complexity.
- Contributes to the department or business unit by applying their advanced knowledge of one or more functional areas.
- Develops, maintains and continuously improves the EHS programs assigned to ensure compliance with the latest regulations, best practices or corporate standards.
- Develops and delivers EHS training to all personnel as required by regulations and by company standards and procedures.
- Assists with internal audit inspections related to the EHS program requirements for the company.
- In collaboration with key stakeholders, drives towards a world -class employee safety culture by implementing safety systems, policies and procedures, safety campaigns, and programs by improving employee safe behaviors and eliminating, preventing or controlling hazards/unsafe conditions.
Drives incident prevention strategies and evaluates, educates and responds to predictive behaviors.
Inspects work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies and regulations.
Responsibilities also include documenting safety inspections, citing dangerous areas/procedures and recommending corrective procedures, and maintaining safety equipment supply and availability.
- Serves as the technical expert and supports implementation of the corporate EHS systems necessary to support compliance activities and the tracking/reporting of EHS performance metrics and trends.
- Provides support of appropriate medical and industrial hygiene related policies and programs to support accident and potential exposure incident management.
Working closely with HR and Operations teams, supports pre -employment fitness for duty evaluations as necessary and return -to-work programs for injured employees.
- Serves as a resource for EHS training requirements.
Serves as a technical expert to implement the company training system and/or associated training materials for employees initial and refresher EHS training within the assigned scope.
Develops supplemental training strategies and resources necessary for necessary for compliance or performance improvements.
- Works with management and operations personnel to ensure training information is kept up -to-date and meets regulatory requirements.
Serves as the technical expert and provides oversight and/or assist operational personnel in the performance of various types of assessments (i.
e.
, job safety analysis, PPE assessments, HAZ-Ops, compliance assessments, etc.
) Monitors resolution of findings as appropriate.
Participates in the Company's raw material and product introduction processes to assess risks at the manufacturing locations.
- Coordinates with Engineering on any facility construction/demolition/closure projects to ensure appropriate contractor management programs are in place and that activities are performed in compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements to effectively manage hazards.
Desired Background/Skills:
- BA/BS w/ 6-8
years' experience or MA/MS degree w/ 3-6
years' experience - Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and take a broad perspective to identify solutions.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and third parties.
This ability to communicate requires the employee to be conversant in English as the majority of our workforce and the third parties that we encounter only speak English.
- Ability to work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
